Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1. These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of trash can cleaning services (“Services”) by Killer Queen Can Clean (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) to the customer (“Client”).
1.2. By booking or using our Services, the Client agrees to be bound by this Agreement.
2. Service Description
2.1. Our Services include trash can cleaning using high-pressure, eco-friendly methods to reduce bacteria, odors, and grime buildup.
2.2. Service Levels:
- Full Service (Interior & Exterior): Deep cleaning, sanitization, and deodorization of the interior of the bin, with a thorough rinse of the exterior.
- Exterior-Only Service: A light spray-down of the exterior of the bin. This service does not include deep cleaning, scrubbing, or deodorization.
2.3. The Service does not include removal of hazardous materials, excessive debris, or unbagged waste. The Client is responsible for ensuring the trash can is free of any substances that may pose a risk.
2.4. We reserve the right to refuse Service if the trash can is deemed unsafe, excessively soiled, or contains hazardous materials.
3. Customer Service Requirements
3.1. Trash Can Placement: The Client must ensure that the trash can is placed in the same area it is left for trash collection on the scheduled Service day.
3.2. Accessibility: The Client is responsible for ensuring that the bin is in an easily accessible location. The area must not be locked or secured. If the trash can is in a gated, locked, or otherwise inaccessible area, the Service will not be performed, and no refunds will be issued.
3.3. Safety of Work Environment: The Client must provide a safe environment for our workers. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Ensuring the trash can is in a clear and unobstructed area.
- Dogs or other animals must be secured away from the service area. If a dog is loose or poses a safety risk, Service will not be performed, and no refunds will be issued.
- Any other hazard or obstruction that prevents safe completion of the Service may result in the Service being canceled without refund.
3.4. Trash Can Contents:
- The trash can must be free of loose items before Service.
- Killer Queen Can Clean (KQCC) will remove up to ONE BAG of trash in order to complete cleaning and will place the bag back inside after Service.
- If the trash can contains multiple bags or loose trash, the Service will be skipped, and no refund or reschedule will be provided.
4. Payments & Fees
4.1. Monthly Recurring Payments:
- Recurring payments will be charged on the first of each month.
- The initial payment does not need to be made on the first of the month. Your service after the initial payment will begin on the next serviceable day in your area.
- If service is required sooner than the following month or on an emergency basis, the Client must contact us to schedule or request service through their customer portal. Additional fees may apply.
4.2. No Refund Policy:
- All payments are final. No refunds will be issued.
- If the Client cancels their plan after a payment has been made, they will still receive the service for which they paid, and the following month will serve as the canceled month.
4.3. Pricing Commitment & Early Cancellation:
- The price for recurring plans is firm for the first three (3) months of service.
- If the Client cancels their plan before completing three (3) months, they will be charged the difference between the one-time service rate and the discounted rate paid.
4.4. General Payment Terms:
- Payment is due at the time of Service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- Late payments may result in Service suspension until the account is current.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled Service may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one service.
5. Cancellations, Missed Service, and Rescheduling
5.1. Missed Service Due to Inaccessible Trash Can: If the trash can is not placed in the correct location on your scheduled Service day, you forfeit that Service, and no refunds will be provided. Reminders are a courtesy, not a guarantee.
5.2. Vacation or Absence: If the Client will be on vacation or unavailable on the scheduled Service day, it is the Client’s responsibility to contact us in advance to suspend or reschedule Service.
5.3. Missed Visits Due to Trash Pickup Delays: If trash pickup does not occur as scheduled for your neighborhood, we will circle back around at the end of the day to attempt another cleaning. Clients will receive a notification if their trash has not been picked up, and a credit adjustment will be made accordingly.
5.4. Severe Weather & Service Interruptions: In the event of severe weather (including but not limited to hurricanes, tropical storms, high winds, or heavy rain) that prevents safe operation, Service may be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled. Clients will be notified as soon as possible if their Service is impacted and provided with an alternate Service date or credit provided.
6. Liability and Disclaimers
6.1. We are not responsible for any damage or injury occurring due to unsafe conditions on the Client’s property.
6.2. The Company is not liable for trash cans that were not properly placed, secured, or accessible on the scheduled Service day.
6.3. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims or damages arising from their failure to ensure a safe and accessible Service area.
7. Amendments
7.1. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Notice will be provided via our website or direct communication.
